Wish Discovery Resources
Wish Discovery volunteers guide wish children and their families at the start of the Wish Journey, helping them build resilience and experience healing. Through virtual conversations, they create meaningful connections to empower each child to explore possibilities and identify a wish inspired by their unique interests and passions. Wish Discovery volunteers collaborate closely with Make‑A‑Wish staff to ensure every child’s Wish Journey begins with clarity, excitement, and support.
The Wish Volunteer Packet includes the Wish Child Form and Volunteer Notes Page. Please complete these forms as thoroughly as possible. They are formatted as fillable PDFs so you can complete them electronically and email them to the wish coordinator. If you prefer to complete them by hand, please email a scanned copy or picture of them.​
Staff are responsible for securing all other paperwork from Wish Families. In exceptional circumstances, staff may reach out directly to wish volunteers for support in securing specific paperwork from a wish family.
