The Associate Board brings together Chicagoland career-driven individuals to support Make-A-Wish Illinois through fundraising, volunteering, and promoting our mission. Our Associate Board members represent Make-A-Wish in a positive and professional way. The Board does not have governing or legal authority within the organization.
Member Responsibilities

Attending Board and committee meetings

Participating in fundraising efforts and events

Recruiting new members and supporters

Promoting and advocating for the Make-A-Wish mission
Associate Board Recruitment
Applications to become an Associate Board member open in April and typically remain open for one month.
​
Interviews and membership offers are conducted by the AB Recruitment Committee.
​
New Associate Board members are slated in the fall for the upcoming year.
